She is the author of or contributor to four books, each an Amazon best seller.
Her first book, The Power of Disruption: A Memoir of Discovery, tells the story of her own journey of rediscovery after she nearly died when her appendix ruptured while vacationing on the remote Caribbean island of Dominica.
She has also co-authored, with her husband Jon Cross, Chapter 11 (Finding Your Zen: A Recipe for Natural Restoration No Matter Where You Live) in The Ultimate Guide to Self-Healing, Volume 2 by Laura Di Franco. In it, they share how their journey to restore their property to its rare native state has become a metaphor for living their lives with intention.
Susan is also the author of Chapter 17 (You Are Enough, and You Always Were) in Find Your Voice Save Your Life, by Dianna Leeder, where she details her show stopping near death experience.
In addition, Susan wrote Chapter 14 (Nature’s Recipe for Restoration: How to Cultivate the Authentic You) in the third installment of Anna Pereira’s international best-selling series The Wellness Universe Complete Guide to Self-Care, 25 Tools to Achieve Anything where she talks about using nature’s roadmap as a guide for personal achievement.
She lives in the rare habitat of The Oak Openings Region, which is located near Toledo, Ohio.
